996 GT3 GEN2 PCCB....What wheels will Fit?!

So basically I took the plunge and bought the 2011 RS PCCB system complete with calipers/rotors, pads for my 996GT3. I want the ultimate street set up for the 996 and with some research it seems they will fit without issues.

The only issue now is wheel fitment. My goal is as light weight as possible that are 18" and will for sure clear the PCCB. What wheels should fit GEN 2 PCCB on a 996 GT3 without issue? Forgeline VF-1's look like they would fit, anything else?

Pretty much going for the ultimate 996 GT3 build for the street. Already have full race exhuast, 200CEL cats, IPD plenum, Fabspeed dual conical, and now hoping for some good news shoes to fit the socks ....expensive socks lol

Also for a quick and inexpensive mod I was thinking of getting the 997.2 RS lightweight battery for an easy and cheap weight reduction. Would that make sense? Or just buy a Braille battery or something along those lines?

Thanks guys! Really looking for some help.

Tom

CCW 10s and most 18" OZs will clear the calipers

Companies like ADV.1 can custom engineer any of their wheels around any caliper you have on your car.

CCW's 18's any style should fit. I have StopTech's STR system and they clear fine and these are bigger than the 996 PCCB's

We make 3 styles of wheels for this fitment

our 18" wheels will clear this set up with no problems.

We have the following

WC-GT
130R
LMS

18x9 front and 18x11 or 12 rear.

They do not. 996 uprights have 142mm caliper bolt spacing while the 997pccb calipers have 225mm bolt spacing. You must use either 997GT3pccb uprights or use adapters to bolt them up to the 996 uprights. I run the 997pccb system (w/steel rotors) and its fantastic. Rears are a direct bolt on. You also want to run the larger 997GT3 master since you are moving more fluid, otherwise you end up with a bit of a mushy pedal. 18" CCW C10s clear the 380s with about 1/4" caliper to wheel clearance as you can see in the picture:

Brembo makes them for Porsche. They're a couple of hundred bucks each.

Very interesting.. I guess there must be a demand for it in order for Brembo to sell them, then! (Or the bolt spacing are common for some of Brembo's other calipers)

Do you happen to have pictures of the adapters?

You guys have been so so much help!! This is amazing.

so basically pwdrhound all i need is the adapters from brembo to make them work? Are you by any chance selling the wheels or any of the pieces you used to make the system work?

Also where is the best place to get a 997RS master for the fluid issue?? Finally do I run the same brake fluid or does that need to be changed as well??

Thanks so much, again I am looking at wheel options and I appreciate the help and responses from everyone. I am hoping to keep wheel costs below 3000$ total. (without tires) therefore if anyone is selling please let me know.
