No, hopefully not. I'm told summer of 2014. I think you are confusing me with someone else. I have a 964 C4 and a 996TT. I do enjoy them immensely.

I do think the new GT3 is going to be incredible and has more to it than simply being fast. I'm just glad I got an allocation.

Yes indeed the GT3 standing start acceleration figures are very close to the Turbo but not the S. Mid-range acceleration the Turbo is the real winner because of the colossal torque it produces from 2,000 rpm onwards. Having said that, mid-range acceleration is more applicable in the real world. i just got c&d. very interesting article. the stats are truly wild but c&d always has fastest numbers. despite this, seems to me they didnt love the car that much. lamented over lack of manual trans while all other reviews seem to 'understand' why porsche went with pdk. same issue has 911s loosing comparo to vette so who knows, maybe c&d has it out for porsche this year

 

Faster performance numbers sell more magazines... Vette beating 911 sells more magazines...
