I was offered a 03 GT2 in feb for $135 with 3K miles on it.
now the market has softened and I would expect an 02 to be in the 115 range. Just what I observed having been in the GT2/3 market recently. I think there were DEALERS asking 120 for 02s recently.

thanks for the info. at 125 or less, we're definitely keeping it... no car can touch the performance/rarity for that price.

Here is one from a dealer with a buy it now of 115k. The miles are 11k . One Artic Silver just sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago for 113k from a private party with under 10k miles I do not remember the exact amount. Market is real soft right now.

jsut so you know, 11k is almost twice as much mileage as 6K. Also, this is a 1 owner car and has never been in any type of accident. I have read that A LOT of gt2s have had some type of damage, so i wouldnt assume that every gt2 out there is pristene.

Anyone who sells a pristine 02 GT2 for less than $130K is crazy (IMO). I own both and the GT3 pales in comparison (so much so that I never drive it..30 miles in a year).

If you read the posts carefully you'll see that the GT2 continues to emerge over the GT3. The myth about the 'beast" has been busted. The better (technical) the driver you are the more you will appreciate the GT2.

There are nearly 1000 GT3 drivers out there "in training" for 250 odd GT2s (though some are more than capable, even non GT3 drivers)

Some cars change hands because the owners are impatient to get onto the next deal, but those will become less and less.

At around 250 cars the GT2 is even rarer than a CGT.

Patience, as always wil be rewarded. If I were in the used market for a GT2 I would want a car that was original in every way, and not chipped, as this voids related warranty issues. That's why I keep mine stock.

Talk to the Porsche mechanics at the dealers and they will tell you how Porsche can identify "invisible" modifactions, but they only look for them under certain problem conditions, directly related.

It gets tiring to read all the "crap" about supposed market values from armchair observers. I know how the CGT owners feel..but then there are 5 times as many CGT cars out there at twice the price.

In California a "decent" dealer will still pay over $120K for a pristine GT2, ask me how how I know.

thanks for that post. We decided to keep it and jsut save up for an e-gear murcie. the gt2 is jsut too good and too rare to get rid of at that price.
