991 GT3 question

Anyone know why the GT3 in America doesn't get the clubsport package or carbon fiber racing seats as options?

They are not DOT approved yet. Roll cages will never be DOT approved here. Too much potential for head injuries in a street car without restraints and helmet.

But the 997 GT3/GT2 RS came with roll cages? Or did everyone add those after the fact? And they came with the carbon fiber seats as well. Porsche hasn't changed anything.

Roll cages added after. Those seats were DOT approved. The 991 will eventually get the seats, just not yet.
