Porsche Lithium Battery + Battery Tender ??

For those who have the lithium battery, how do you keep yours charged?? mine dies out in less than 2 weeks and I rarely drive the car.

Is it ok to use the CTEK/Porsche battery charger/tender with this battery?

I assume it's ok since the battery has its own circuit and charges the same way as other batteries when the car is running.

Just wanted to make sure...

I use the Porsche battery tender plugged in on my 2007 RS. I've been using it for 3 years now.

I use the old school approach. I drive mine.

Seriously, can't see why it wouldn't work.

Sorry I missed this...

Ctek makes a lithium-ion-specific charger, which works quite differently than their other models. Don't know of any li-on specific model from Deltran (Battery Tender). You would be wise to use the Ctek li-on, as li-ons have very different charging needs than lead acid batteries, including AGMs.
Several li-on battery makers sell li-on-specific chargers, but they are all laughably over-priced. The Ctek is very reasonable, even less than some of their "regular" models.

You've spent a lot on your li-on. Spend a little more and it will give you years of service, and no problems.

Enjoy the ride.
