Very clean. Was there any need for cutting the grill on the installation of the front shifters?

 

That turned out great!

 

Yes they had to cut the grill due to the shifters being about 3" deep. However if you buy the current 9500ci w pro shifters they have been updated smaller and should fit without any grill modification. I chose to cut since an OEM replacement grill is about $200 from Germany. Upgrading my unit would have been another $850.. I've had this unit in my 997.2 GT3 for 2 years never had an issue and a unit on my cayenne for 4 years so the newer technology doesn't concern me..

How do the indicators show up in rear view mirror? Is that a mod on the mirror or replacement?

 

There is a guy that makes them.. Radar-mirror.com You can do a core swap or send him yours and he will modify it accordingly.
