Took the car out for a spin.It is of course glorious!
I found that GT Silver really absorbs ambient light and is constantly changing. The warm tones at dusk are a good example of how much it changes its appearance. I took some pics.
I have followed your threads on waiting and finally getting your GT3... I am glad that you are enjoying your new toy...
I was on the GT3 bandwagon as well but got persuaded to buy the TTS the same week my GT3 slot became available, middle of Sept... I will always be attracted to the GT3 as it has stolen my heart...

Congrats again!
As you know it was a bit of a roller coaster for me. Initially excited about the GT3, then a bit of regret due to the lack of rear seats and not being able to take both my nephews (6 and 10) for a drive together. After much deliberation and trying to convince myself with other alternatives (4S or TT) and failing, I bit the bullet and with their blessings went for the GT3. I have to say that if you enjoy driving and being at one with just yourself and the car, there is nothing at this price level that compares! It is exhilarating and sublime. I love it!
Your TTS is going to be the best DD ever! I am sure of that. Please keep us posted when it arrives.

Thanks... Yes the TT is more practical then the GT3, but for me does not stir the passion quite the same as the GT3...IMHO...
I like the exterior body and engine note of the GT3.... And the interior / options and torque of the TTS. I bet if they would have offered the Burmester in the GT3 I could of gotten over the other luxury items that are missing from the GT3.
No track time for me. Just will be a weekend car to take the wife out in, have some spirted drives, and an occasional road trip.

Congrats again on your beautiful GT3!!!
Exactly why I chose the GT3. There is something so visceral about this particular GT3 that even a few minutes of driving it (at any speed) becomes a memorable thrill.
I wish you well and hope you get your GT3 as well!
