Defected factory carbon fiber interior

Hello All,

The carbon inside my car is defected and it flaked out. I believe this is common issue with porsche. My car is still under warranty and was wondering if that can be covered by that. Any one had any experience before ?

Without a doubt that should be covered by the original warranty or CPO. Not sure about 3rd party warranty.

My car is CPO as well and i had them replace the exterior rubber window seals just for the fact that they faded a little bit. No questions asked. You shouldn't have any issues.

Went to dealer today and they informed me they usually get rejection from porsche whenever they submit a warranty claim. I asked them to submit it anyway and will wait for porsche feedback

Agree. That's why I'm looking for someone with same issue to confirm.

Porsche had problems with that type of issues in the past. The carbon fiber on my 993 steering wheel cracked. Surely Porsche would consider this a valid warranty claim. My dealer would replace it in a heart beat. Does your CPO cover everything except wear items.

Best wishes on getting the proper resolution.
