Took the GT3 out for an x-mas run
Since we have no snow at all there's not salt on the street as well. For the kids it's sad because white Christmas is definitely way more cooler. So when i woke up this morning

i thought it might be cool to take the GT3 out for an x-mas run. i have winter tires mounted so grip shouldn't be a problem with the actual temperatures.

hell yeah that was big fun. almost empty roads in the mountains nearby - it's really cool to drive it all year long.
happy x-mas guys

Haku,
Did you used to run your 997.2 GT3 in the winter? I have a 2015 C4 GTS on order, but am just drawn to the GT3. But, I need a daily driver and in Canada, that means running it in the winter. I have heard of some people running some in the winter to the south of me (still with snow), but not sure about doing it with the GT3.

We get very few snow days where I live, maybe 5 or 6 a year. So I did drive it all year but to be fair I'd leave it in the garage when the weather was too cold or very wet. That said, I do know of folks who are running their gt3 through winter up north. Winter tyres etc would be mandatory.
i often hear that it's not recommended to drive the GT3 in snow because of the missing undercoat... over here the often put tons of salt on the streets. during that time i'll not drive my GT3. But if it's only snow i can't see a problem..
What are your thoughts about that?
