Of all the valve controlled side muffler delete products, which is the best?

A lot of our dealers have been installing our Tubi side muffler deletes lately. I'm not sure if there's too many other options out there with OEM valve control in their side muffler deletes, but it's something we made sure to include in the Tubi design.

We've also done a few in house but the last two we did we complete exhaust deletes using our valved side muffler deletes paired with Sharkwerks center muffler deletes. Sound is amazing...but loud!

I don't like to speak on the merits of other companies' products, but I can provide you with some info on our GT3 Side Muffler Bypass pipes.

We wanted to keep as much as the OEM engineering in mind, because we feel as though they got it mostly right; the two biggest things we wanted to achieve were to reduce the amount of heat around the tire and offer weight savings.

Our bypass pipes weigh in at 4.75 lbs/each (9.5 together); compare this to the OEM 21.5/each (43 lbs), so you save 33.5 lbs.

Other than that, we utilized most of the same design features as the factory. We have retained the active valve and have effectively eliminated drone in the process. We also made sure to include the metal flex joint in our design, as this makes installation easier (and less likely for the tech doing the install to be banging it into place with a mallet) and helps its structural longevity. We use stainless steal construction with a brush finish. And to top it all off, each pipe is handmade in-house by our welder/fabricator, Nick!

Hope this helps!

No gain, or very minimal if anything.

The purpose of this product isn't to increase horsepower, and I think you'll be hard pressed to find any that do.

We designed this product as a street friendly version of the Porsche factory GT3 Side Muffler Bypass Pipe; we've added the bypass valve to offer something a little more street friendly - more quiet when desired and no drone when cruising.

The main goals of this product are weight reduction for improved handling and to reduce heat saturation of the rear tires.

Akrapovic's systme has the proven and stable power gains for GT3/RS exhaust on market right now, but the weight reduction to the rear end isn't that impressive though!

A reduction of 36.8 lbs for the Akra Evolution Race Line and 54.7 lbs for the Akra Evolution Line seems like a huge weight savings to me.

According to your number, yes that looks like a lot of weight saving from my previous misunderstanding, but why there are two versions of Akra exhasuts with different weight saving? Is the one for GT3 and the other for RS?

Akrapovic is arguably the most premium exhaust company out in the market right now.

We also carry iPE that has very large gains as well. I can DM you shortly if interested.

Both systems are applicable to the GT3RS and GT3. The Evolution Race Line is designed specifically for track use. It's louder and has more power gains as compared to the standard Evolution line.
