does he drive a kia? the gt3 is an awsome machine, but FAR from having a strong pull in a straight line.

Well, I'd have to ask......have you ever been in a 3?.......If you're ever in Atlanta, I'd love to take you for a spin around Road Atlanta.

Over the years I have owned quite a few desirable cars, i.e., Viper, TTs,Pantera, Z06s, SVO Cobra Mustang. Cobra replica, etc. I have only had my GT3 for 6 weeks but it is in a class by itself. I had heard sad stories about the bone crushing ride, too low for city driving, etc and found the stories to be BS. My 3 IS THE FINEST DRIVING CAR I HAVE EVER HAD. The only other car I can compare it to was my 04 Maserati cambio Spyder, and even then only for straight line acceleration until about 100.
I get up every morning looking forward to driving the GT. At this point in time I would not consider trading for anything. I have read the accolades on the 997 GT3 and it might be an option down the road a bit, but for now I am completely satisfied with my blk/blk beauty.

The GT3 pulls like crazy and forever dude.
there is not mad tyt3 boost, but the car just keeps going and going and going.
The GT3 is the best all around car ever made in my opionion.
It can handle it's own in any scenario and in the standerd of driving that is road racing nothing can really touch it.
I just got mine a few month ago and I am keeping it. I will have fun pulling up to hungry dealers trying to sell marked up 997GT3's and taking them out for "Joyrides" but that's about it.

I know that was meant for the other guy not me,...I agree with every word. The 3 is the best 911 ever made to date. I the 997 is better, then great......but it won't be 50k better thats for sure......I absolutely love mine.

Personally, I like the front end and the wing of the 996 version better.

I agree the new GT3 looks very "busy"
I assume the rear bumper is made to help keep its *** on the ground and to cool the motor with the side vents, pretty cool and funtional as the exhaust is in the center of the bumper and not on the sides.
Anyway, the 996GT3 looks like a Shark, very sleek. The new GT3 remindes me of a Blowfish..lolol
But it's only in our nature to try to talk crap about the new style.
All in all I think it should be a great car and I can't wait to drive one.
I bet it won't go down as a classic like the 996GT3 though.
The mystique is gone with the PASM and TC..imo

I cant see how the GT3 can handle so much better and so on, but hey i have not driven one yet and hopefully can be in awe, i miss raw feeling cars.. I was so tempted to buy a friends GTS ACR last night, 02 with 4k miles haha, then i saw my turbo and thought about the 997gt3 and was like ehh i think i'll pass. Got into my turbo and god i was in love again, maybe after full suspension, sways and strut and other upgrades it will be raw like i want it, im still going to try out a GT3 though
