Gotta agree, since that's my exact set up (except I've got GT3 seats).

Guys... I hate to burst your bubble (and I love this stuff too) but you can bet us folks in the US will NOT be getting that sort of stuff. It'll be the same as the clubsport option and sport seats not being available as a US option. We'll have ****ty sport seats...

In my opinion, the biggest crime is that round hub of the steering wheel. It just seems so out of place to me. On a slightly different note, has anyone noticed they did away with the volt meter and added an oil temp gauge instead? I like the idea of the shift light but wouldn't it be too low to really be effective? I suppose it's more gimmick once you get a feel for and tune in to the beautiful engine song.

Obviously you have to own a 996 to know the interior doesn't compare to the 997. Obviously I have never driven a 996, owned a porsche, driven a 997, or been in a porsche dealership. I don't have to own a pinto to know it is a piece of ****.

Good luck with that depreciation, can't wait for the 997 GT3, the 996 mk II GT3 will be a nice memory as everyone focuses on the newer, superior vehicle. Heck of a car you have there btw.

I cancelled the full leather option after seeing how good the standard leatherette is. Wouldn't dream of it in a 996. IMHO, the 997's interior is head and shoulders above the 996.

There is nothing nicer than a satin finish natural leather for a Porsches' interior. I like the full leather of my 05 GT3 much better than the suede look. The white 997, otherwise, is simply beautiful.

I like it, I think it doesnt look as great in the pics becuase of the super bright flash on the camera. It makes everything look too bright. Put it through photoshop and shade it darker and Im sure you will like it more.

I do love those seats. I have the adaptable sport seats, and they are nice; but they do not compare to the GT3 pic.

On another note, if that is the dash without PCM -- GET PCM. That is really dull.

p.s. I have to agree with Sticky, Rockitman. I think it is you doing the bongers. Not to dish the 996, but the 997 interior is a HUGE improvement over the 996. In fact, the 997 is a huge improvement as a whole. We should expect them to improve their products guys, so just accept that 996s now look "old." Still great, but old.

That would be such a bummer if those sport seats don't make it over here.

Its a nice generational iteration. Does it blow the 996 away no not even close. and the steering wheel does suck. I like the seats though but I bet they will cost a ton over here. In my opinion its not that big of a move away from the 996 version. Huge improvement hardly.
