PCCB Question

I have heard that you can swap out steel rotors for the ceramics if you choose. Is this accurate? No probs with the calipers working with steel v. the OEM ceramic??? Are they standard calipers for the GT3 and just painted yellow or are the calipers different as well? Thanks.

Z06 is infamous around these parts
Yes for the front, options for the rear...
I have the AP real race non floating front rotors.360mm and the rear is still PCCB, as far as I am concerned it's the only choice.
They have an AP kit for the rear conversion, PCCB rear is 350mm rotor and the steel is 330mm.

The 997 GT3 Cup Steel rotor is a direct swap for the rear 996 GT3 PCCB.

Front calipers are the same, rear ones have a 10mm offset on the PCCB cars

THe other thing you can do is get the right pads for your PCCBs and
they last ALOT longer. 4 curves on this board did it and tracked it till the cows came home or till he got his Cup car. Now his wife tracks it.
this is gen one PCCB with I think the CGT front pads and some pagid yellows for the back.

Here are the part # for correct PCCB use
front 98035193900
rear 996 352 947 03

I got these from 4 curves himself
