This car belongs to the gentleman that sold me my F40...its up for sale, $1.6 million, minty shape, just like the rest of his collection...

Why is he selling it?

 

I think he is just getting into other interests. Not quite sure of the underlying reasons to be honest.

 

I've never really liked the Burnt Orange color on the McLaren F1.... Oh welll... Still an incredible vehicle! Defently someone on 6speed should ****** this baby up.

 

1.6? I thought the going rate is 1.2? with zonda, veyron and enzo, i doubt f1 is appreciating. nice example!

 

Really, 1.2 ? I think that seems a bit low, especially since less than 80 examples were built....I can't see how this vehicle is any less than 2M in 10 years...such an icon of style and performance.

I know if I had a spare 1.4-1.5 M laying around, I would snap it up !!! My alltime favourite, and surely to appreciate

 

I beleive 64 Road F1's were built. +5 LM's(which only one of is in North America, Owner by Raulf Lauren).

 

RufMD, Let's see..... if I sell my house, my F430, my Ford GT, my Gallardo, my Maranello and let my girlfriend walk the streets for a couple of months, I should only be a couple hundred thou short!!! Gotta keep the CGT and the Murcielago.... spaceships are in again! Beam me up Scotty!
