It would be a Porsche certified approved car. It would have been freshly checked and serviced to pass the approval. 100 plus point inspection.
Mine came with one, The Warranty goes to 2010 or 100K miles.
The CPO makes it a bit more valuable at re-sale and is transferable to new owners. It also and tends to make you feel a bit more confident that the car is in top shape when you buy it.
Use that as a gimme on the deal or ask for free annual service on the car at least.
This car does have a 50K 4 year warranty.

I'm just saying you should put your eyes on it. Cost to CPO is $1825 for the dealer so negotiate from there. I could be wrong but I can usually tell even from crappy pics.

 

I was pretty shocked at the price, seems low for a GT3. Generally your not going to find the best deal on a GT3 from a dealer either. But its worth checking out, and if its CPO then don't worry about it.
