There did not crash test any 997's without a sunroof. Read about it in Excellence magazine.

 

Agreed, im in awe everytime i see a 996GT2, im truely in love with it, this and the new turbo on the otherhand are weak!!

Porsche may claim 520-550 but its almost garunteed to have 550+

 

Unfortunately, I think that is pretty close to the final product. If you don't like it now, you aren't going to like it when it's released. Fall '07 maybe?

 

Looks great and probably going to be one hell of a performer. However, I hope they do not price it north of 200k again. That is going to make it a little unappealing to most considering the nasty hit(price-wise) they took last time. I think the 996 GT2 is probably the best exotic for the mone(yes I consider the 2 as an exotic). If they price the GT2 at about 155k (base) then the market will look much nicer than last time, but I am sure it will be closer to 200k

I really don't like the 997 GT2 (from these photos), the 996 GT2 is such a better looking car, pricewise the 997 GT2 will be approx $210k without doubt, here in the UK a dealer told me it's gonna be at least 10% more than the 996 GT2.

 

I agree. Not too exciting to look at. The lines on the 997GT3 seems to flow better.
