Please post the best looking black wheels for a Guards Red GT3. I am just sick and tired of cleaning those dirty wheels. Thank you very much for your help.

They are very heavy....I think something along the lines of 40lbs..

On a GT3, I would leave the wheels stock but if I was changing the wheels, they would have to be something along the lines of BBS, Kinesis...etc...something race-prove...strong and relatively light to add to the car's potential rather than take away from it with heavy "bling" type wheels.

How about just having the stock wheels powder coated black? cheaper than new wheels. I love the look of the stock wheels, but if you really want something new, how I'd go with Fikse. I can't think of the model number though.

I think the SSR GT3 wheels looks better than stock wheels. Not a significant weight saving though!

Does any one have experience with the SSR GT3 wheels? Can they be fitted on a GT3?

I heard powder coated wheels could be dangerous on the track so I might not go with that route. Although it's a good suggestion, can anyone prove me wrong? Another reason I like SSR GT3 whee's because it's much easier to clean versus the stock GT3 wheels. Do you guys all take off your wheels to clean them when wash your car?

I dont think techart formula's fit on a GT3, at least that is what my dad said. But i would go with the factory rim painted black.

We don't carry the Techart, I just love them.

We DO carry OZ Superleggera III with black centers. Lighter than the Techarts, way strong being forged and roll-formed, and can be repaired if damaged.

DO NOT put techarts on a GT3! Way too heavy. Take it from me. I just sold my set and went back to stockers. I can not possibly begin to tell you the difference!

How about the Champion RG5 Wheels with painted centers? Here's two pics of a TT with them on one with the painted centers and one without the painted centers but same wheel. They're available through Champion Porsche in Florida. They're not cheap, but they're very light, and they're forged, so they're strong and in my opinion some of the nicest wheels around. I forget if it's BBS or Fikse, but I'm positive it was one of them that was commissioned to make this wheel for them. The only draw back is that they're probably not the easiest to clean with all those spokes. I know others on this board have similar rims, so they could probably chime in on how they are to keep clean. I hope this helps because personally, I love this rim in with black centers.
