what were they thinking??? I know that at most DE's in the US, the passenger is suppose to have the same rstraint system as the driver. What's the solution ?...cramming a harness bar back there for the passenger ? Not very well thought out by Porsche if you ask me...then again, the US cars don't come with a rollbar, so perhaps an aftermarket rollbar will suffice and solve this very real problem...

I doubt that the front portion of the cage would need to be bolted onto the dash. Looking per 996GT3RS here in OZ, looks like its bolted onto the floor.

I would have LOVED to come up to the Ring and have a look at both your beasts but unfortunately I'm working all week..

If you want to you are more than welcome to come by MK Motorsport in Ötigheim (just south of Karlsruhe) or just swing by Karlsruhe in the evening and show me the difference between a very fast car and a helluva fast car!

If not, enjoy your stay here in Germany and have fun at the Ring!!
