You are not very bright if you thinks a Lambo has more "character" than a Porsche 911, that is an assanine statement. It may have more flash, I give you that, kinda like a gold, diamond studded Rolex

As for compensating, you seem to have **** on your mind, anything you want to tell us Doogie Howser?
If Porsche is soo utterly fanatstic, so well built, everyone wants one, why is the resale value of the CGT so bad it it is bordering on eclipsing used Murcielagos which cost 150,000 less to begin with.

As I said, stepping stone. When I was concerned about maintenence, I too drove a drove Porsche. Thankfully not a green one, I would have drew the line there.
As for the Gold Rolex, no, that i dont have, but I do have a Platinum Masterpiece with a diamond bezel and oyster face. But we do agree on something, the Gold Rolex is ugly, about as hideous as a green C2 turbo.

What strikes me is that I made a simple comment, like many others, "I prefer German over Italians". You come back and start insulting and acting like a 2 year old.
You have alot to learn and alot of growing up to do IMO. This is a pretty cool Forum but when jerks like yourself come here and start insulting what people own and believe in, well, that's sad. Everyone has an OPINION, you act like a child and insult when folks don't agree with you, you can buy 12 more Lambos in every color but you still will have ZERO class and 99% of the folks on the Forum will still think you are a *****.

i for one, have been long considering a G.... looked at 04's still have limted knowledge but it looks like 06 G is the way to go.
allan, LOW state has a 640 mi. 06 black egear for 174. is that a good price??? can i do better on a used 06???? TIA

For example: I raced my 04' Gallardo 6 speed (no cats, quicksilver exhaust) against my "Supercharged" Porsche 997 (490Hp) and the Porsche took the Gallardo by a car to 120ish. I then raced the same "Supercharged 997" against my buddies 06' 6 speed Gallardo and he took it every time 30-150mph, 50 - 120mph & 40 - 150mph. The gearing on the newer gallardo is far superior to the 04's as well as the power. I think the power on the 06 is under rated (IMO).

Also, just as you said, I would definitely go for an 06+. Much better car than the 04/05.
