I ordered:

Orange/Black
Xenon, full leather, deviating stitching everywhere (orange), PCCB, rear center console lid with GT3 RS logo, rear center console painted black, PCM, PCM painted black and floor mats. - January production

Car 2 is no longer on the board due to continued failure of the dealer to be reasonable. First I was #1 on their list but they insisted I take a car they spec'd (their specs were not pretty). After about 4 days of back and forth they agreed to let me order what I wanted, so long as the MSRP was not less than $152K. Problem was I wanted about a $140K MSRP car. They told me that was their final offer, take it or leave it. Finally to try to move the process along I offered to pay for the "lost profit" on the $11K in options I did not want or about $2K over MSRP, which they responded to by sending me a confirmed order of my spec and a request for a $20K deposit (about 4 days passed) . In the meantime I spoke with the #2 person on their list, who was going through the same dance. He took a more aggressive position with them, anyway they allowed him to spec a $139K car, with no lost profit. I offered the deposit, but told them I required the same deal as #2 buyer. They told me we had a deal and were not at liberty to discuss other deals, take it or leave it. So I told them to refund my deposit on principal, I simply don't need to do business in that manner.

Their process and ultimately how they handled the situation left me with a very bad taste for a dealer I have had an excellent relationship with for a long time. To be honest S. Calif. car dealers live in a perfect world and they all seem to try to justify their position, by look what so and so is doing we are not doing that.

By contrast the other car I ordered at Newport Porsche went like a dream. They called, set an appointment for me to come in and spec my car. We went over all the options first, then they took me and showed me what a lot of things looked like (carbon, painted center console etc.) so I had a good idea what I might want to order. We then went back in, got on the computer and ordered the car. The printed the order, gave me a copy and said if I had any questions or wanted to make any changes just give them a call, but to do so quickly as a January build car may close quickly. A week later they called and said they had made some changes as some additional options had come along related to deviating stitiching. They had updated the order, gotten a confirmation fax from Porsche that the update was accepted and sent me a copy of both. A great experience. I could not be happier to be doing business with them!

And I can't wait to get this car in Feb or March!~

Car 2: Xenon, full leather, PCCB, rear center console lid with GT3RS logo, floor mats, euro delivery. - March production

First car is what my brother in law wanted. The second car is what I want and comes later, so I can get Euro delivery and have some fun. Since I put down two deposits and got allocated two spots I thought I might as well get both cars, each a little different. My bro says he is taking car 1, but he won't get it until I get car 2. Hope he is standing there when car 2 gets here! JCM
Good work, John. Mine is a March production as well -- similar options to your car #2, but I did have to get a little carbon to go with the Euro RS seats.

I'm glad I used the european order guide to wrap mine up before leaving the country. Got an email 2 days after I left. January build for February delivery. Dealer already has the build sheet back. Knowing that is coming so soon is sorta fakking up my vacation brain a bit though.
Green
P74 Bi Xeons
450 PCCBs
482 TPM (I think is US standard)
454 cruise control, needed for the break in perion on the street
XX@ alum footreast
810 floor mats, no clue why I did that
XPA padded steering wheel
X69 carbon door sills
490 sound system plus, this may be a euro item only.
640 and P16, sport chrono plus with PCM 2.1 and nav.
Market price

Well my second car just died, my choice to kill it as the Dealer continued to be as unreasonable as possible. This sounds like the Pioneer, San Diego approach all over again.
