I highly doubt they'll do a one year run, rumor has it that there WILL be '08's. But I guess only the market will decide. If people will buy them, they'll build them. But by then people will be thinking about the GT2, so we'll see.

 

RIght now they're saying "no" but of course that's just to make the 07 market silly... Of course they know there's a demand so I'd say it's pretty likely? Gotta make money right?

 

Exactly. When has Porsche *ever* under-produced a car? Ask all the poor sobs who get hammered on resale. Hopefully the RS will hold value and premium something akin to the 996 derivative (although given the radically different circumstances, I can't imagine it will be as well).

don't worry, porsches new management will make sure they'll make one more extra then the demand will be.

 

Hopefully Porsche follows the 04 996 GT3 RS and does a one year run.

Ditto That, just like they were limiting the X50 to 35 cars in 2002.

 

If I were a gambling man I'd say yes, you will see it in 08.
