i don't know what you are talking about but the 'normal' 997S is not even comparible to the GT3 in ANY acceleration figures... and besides the driver didn't launch the car very well and was slow at shifting... he probably lost 0.5 sec during each shift and 0.5 to 1 sec delay during the launch... that calulates to 1.5 sec shifting plus the 1 sec delay at launch which proves that the GT3 with a very experienced drag racer should do 8.5sec from 0-100mph...no offence to the driver intended...
