As you can tell I am brand new to this forum, but I am looking for a little advice/help. I just received the good word that I have an allocation for a GT-3 RS, but the order guide is a little vague. I want to order the car in carrera white to match my 2004 GT-3 but the guide says you lose the stripes but gain a rear lid logo, any idea what that means? Also, if you order full leather is the wheel/shifter now black instead of grey? Do you also lose the cool yellow center stripe at the top of the wheel? Is the popular thought on these cars to only order performance options like ceramic brakes and forgo all of the upgrades like full leather? Thanks for the advice!

 

All cars come with the rear logo...it will say "GT3 RS." On white cars, it will be painted black. Yes, you lose the stripes (decals on the side) and your rims can only be painted silver. If you order full leather, you still have the alcantara (volcano grey) bits. I think the shifter will always be alcantara unless you specifically specify leather. The wheel will be alcantara and have the yellow center strip unless you specify thicker leather steering wheel. Hope that helps!

Thank you, when I ordered my 2004 GT-3 in white, everyone at the dealership though I was crazy. All other orders were black or silver. Once it came in...everyone is now on the white bandwagon. This particular dealer has allocation for two RSs. They are both being ordered in white. As you say, the new black!
