Talking GT3 Meteor v Yellow

Finally, I decided white isn't the colour for my GT3.

Now, just left Meteor Gray and Speed Yellow.

Which do you perfer?

Why?

DD or trackcar? The yellow looks great, but are too flashy for a DD IMO.
I would get Meteor.

Sometime I think I am still young so I better go with the Yellow. And you are 20 yrs old and you perfer Meteor too, that's mean this gray doesn't look old. I am not alone.

But why your TT is Yellow?

I have a 996 GT3 in yellow, but if getting a 997 GT3 I'd certainly get meteor. I've seen it in person and it is amazing.

I just like the way yellow car looks, nothing I would drive myself, even though I'm 20...Meteor with yellow PCCB's and some yellow accents such as stitchting, belts and tach will look amazing.

How was the Meteor compared with seal gray?

I did not compare them side by side, but I like meteor better. I don't know how to describe the difference accurately, but meteor seems 'richer' in color.

I'm considering Meteor, Atlas and Black.

Meteor is a new colour, which is appealing on a new model, but maybe a bit light for me. There's pics of a new one with black wheels at Rennlist.

I'll probably go with Black and get the plastic inlet painted black too (it looks a bit odd being unfinished plastic in the middle of the car.) The after-market CF piece is close to $1000 and looks a bit odd too.

As mentioned, check out the 997 GT3 section on rennlist. There is a meteor GT3 with PCCBs and black rims that looks spectacular. Best one yet.

Hell no, get speed yellow. It's a badass sports car, not a Lexus SUV. It can pull off yellow (few cars on the road can). Colors like grey and silver are nice and give a car an expensive look, but are not sporty or outgoing.

My car is not a daily driver though.

Here's my spec:

Between Meteor and SY, I would go with Meteor. I have a Seal Grey GT2 and I like it (not my first choice, I bought used), but I would not order a car that color. Meteor is a little lighter than Seal Grey and is new, so that is nice as well. I have seen 997 GT3 in black, white, SY, Meteor and Atlas. Atlas was by far my favorite. If I ordered I would get Midnight Blue.

Good luck with your decision, no bad choice.
