Gt3 vs Z06 is a fair comparison, comparing to the TT is irrelevent.
A long track will favor the vette I'm afraid.

As for everything else, I thought this was a website to get info about cars. Im sorry a guy messages me talkin trash about porsches and I come to you all for your opinion. You all dog me about a car question on a car website when other guys are posting about American Idol and fish tanks. I mean come on. As far as this rep thing and ego trips Im done with it. I might not have a million post, but I have been on this website for a long before I was a member. This is one of my favorite websites and my families favorite websites. I have obtained valuable info from this website and I value most of every members opinions. So if this pisses you off and you want to neg rep me then so be it. I could careless if I get banned because I had a question about a car. Remember guys some members are not on here everyday so they don't know that someone has already argued a certain issue. Just give them the link and tell them it was already discussed, no big deal.

Also, it is widely agreed that the C6 Z06 is a great bang for the buck with awesome power and better than expected handling. But to compare it to a P-car is a little more than ridiculous. I could slap a supercharger on a Mustang and beat a stock Porsche in the quarter, does it make the Mustang a better car?

You need to get your facts straight, people are banned for a reason. You obviously dont check the forums much or you would have known about SCvett00 and his reputation. Could be a noob mistake, you could be his best friend for all I know. He seems hell bent on proving something on this forum, well luckily he'll have to try and do it from another ip address from now on.

I didnt neg rep you, but you will get several more if you follow in SCvett00's footsteps, he left here several points in the hole.

But concerning the cars they are very evenly matched on the track. The GT3 has won on some tracks and the vette on others. On the tracks that the same driver drove the car, the differences are so small, it could be that one car suited the drivers style better than another and vice versa on the other track. if these two were to meet at the track off the showroom, the better suited driver for their car would win. The vette is much faster in a straight line to longer courses with big straights would suit it better and give it the advantage over the GT3. It is also lighter than the 997 GT3 which has been weighed several times at 3200+ lbs while the vette is 3100 at most. 100 lbs makes a big difference on the track.

 

Scvette was banned because he seemed obsessed with the same subject to the point of obnoxiousness.

Also we really wanted to hear his thoughts on American Idol and fish tanks...
