Zo6 Beat Gt3 On A Track
SCvette00 sent me a message saying that in Car and Driver magazine a new z06 beat a new GT3 on a road course. SCvette00 was mad because I told him his video of a zo6 and 997tt drag racing was irrelevant to what a Porsche was designed to do. Someone please tell me this is false info. I find it really hard to believe a plastic vette could beat a GT3 on a road course(unless the GT3 driver is blindfolded).
Yesterday I was taken out in a 997GT3 buy a Porsche club racer. Lets just say we hit the turns hard. I just find it hard to believe a zo6 could handle or brake that well. I know the zo6's I saw at Road Atlanta had more hrp and slower lap times. So someone tell me what they think.

Agreed, absolutely a drivers race. The fact that a C6 owner has to go troll the competing car forums perhaps eludes to an inferiority issue however? But we have been down that road many threads before.

Unbeknownst to you, this magazine article has been already beaten to death in prior threads, with everyone conceding that both cars are great performers, but very different cars.
