25.5/26.3 = .969 ratio front to rear

As you can see, the difference is about 0.1%. All electronics nannies work great. I have run 3 track weekends like this, no warning lights, no squirrely behavior whatsoever.
Thanks, that's good info. Do you think the reduced diameter is an issue? Gearing/reduced footprint?

BEST tire you can buy is the Kumho V710...it's better than the Hoosier R6..
245/18 24.8 new 305/18 25.5.

It has been my experience that shaved RA-1's are a faster/better choice than the VRL. VRL's are too soft, and very difficult to manage through a long heat cycle.

Didn't know that the V710's had come out in 305's. I am always leery of the Kumho's ever since the grooving of death and delamination with previous compounds.

For a heavier car, the Hoosiers may in fact get loose on a hot day. I have not run them yet on my TT in temps >50F but I'll find out soon enough. I know that GAC's have held up quite well for me in my 2600lbs 944 turbo in 110+F track temps, and understand the VRL is more durable than the GAC's.

I will do 20 min driving on the V710 at Mosport..back off a little and they come back... there is no way the Toyo is a good...not even close.
