Porsche Neighborhood

Yesterday I learned my neighbor is picking up her Porsche Carrera today. Its the dark green with the tan interior. Beautiful car. This will make the third Porsche within 4 houses in my block alone.
There are two Ferraris at the other end of my street.

We call it the poor part of town

Well California is becoming Porsche central (along with MB, BMW, and Land Rover). In Newport, Porsche's are a common sight, usually one in every ten cars. On my street half the houses have a Porsche.

I actually don't know his name. I've been trying to chat with him for a year now and have been unsuccessful. Really bums me out. Does he have his own vinyard in the back bay of Newport Beach??

I am surprised at the lack of hot rods in Palm Springs. I have a home I just finished building in La Quinta and the cars suk. Same deal w/my place in RSF, more AMGs there though, go figure.

In S Fla on any given day I have 3 or 4 CGT's go by, F430's and 599's like they are giving them away free, etc. mostly young peeps in them, under 35.

SoCal is so full of exotics & luxury cars. I have friends who will drive $100K cars and live in an apartment/condo. Keeping up with the Jones has gotten out of hand.
