i just got the buttons! i was looking at it and was wondering if it's possible to wire it up so the lights light up with the interior lights. i can't remember off the top of my head, but i think the sunroof switch lights up... i should be able to tap the power from here right?

yes.. your right. it does light it. my dealer sent me the switch for the 2 car garage opener (3dots and 2 dots). the wiring positions is as follows

pin 1 = for 2 dot switch
pin 2 = for 3 dot switch
pin 3 = illumination 12v
pin 4 = common ground

thanks fern!

i believe the single switch goes...

pin 1 = illumination 12v when buttons are pushed (the non-switch with light)
pin 2 = for 1 dot switch
pin 3 = illumination 12v
pin 4 = common ground

a little off topic, but i was wondering if any of you know of a universal remote that can control intellicode genie garage openners and 10 dipswitch elite gate openners that run on 12v batteries?
