Anyone in SoCal going to this track event on the 30th
Most insurance policys I've seen specific do not cover race tracks.
I know there is some insurance out there for track days - I think they have large deductables but are resonable in cost.
I wouldn't recomend doing track days with your daily driver without this insurance. Obviously there is risk involved in running at the track.

I've done the "Streets" and the big track - if you're driving, the big track is more fun. There are several events at the big track in May. I try to do them all.
My insurance does not cover "racing" - if I crash, it's going to be at a driver "event" - I'll fight that battle when it happens
