Question All This Talk of MSRP or Over MSRP

Just curious, there are some people who say they would NEVER pay over MSRP for a car. I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just curious:

Would you pay 190k for an RS if that was MSRP?

if the gt3 was 190k, i think it would then sell for 240k ...

it's just how it is
you have to understand
there are plenty of rich people who don't mind paying x amount of $ over msrp ..

some of them feel special

i deal with that a lot ... esp on the bentley GTC

It's always funny to me how people choose not to understand the meaning of the word 'if' when it's convenient.

I'll be the first to answer your question: Yes. And so would everyone who could afford it.

Ohhhh NO you wouldn't..... not if it was a new 997 GT2! I had a 2003 GT2 and the base price back then was (I think) $182,000+!!! Figuring at least a $5000 increase since then and with some decent options, you should be well into the $190,000 range. Mags

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an Orange one in March of this year. I have seen (through personal comment) only one person who stated a higher MSRP (window sticker - no add on for Market Adjustment) than mine so far.

My GT3RS window sticker was $152,700. I don't think there were too many more options it was missing. Maybe the possibility of adding $5000 more and that might be stretching it.

OR..... maybe if you get the whole body chromed like 'fitty cent' did on his 'Murcielago' you could get it to $190,000 plus! Mags

No, I would not, but then I think the GT3 is a better deal and essentially the same car.
