Hmm, do you have some big *** feet? I would prefer to do it that way but without a pedal adjustment or different pedal set I can't make that happen.

I too have been rolling toe to toe on every Porsche I've tracked. It really helps to have racing shoes when using this method.

Thanks for this discussion. I have a 997-2 GT3 that I'll be tracking later this week for the first time. I don't know if the pedal placement changed from the 996's, but it certainly seems to me that the "toe roll" method will work a lot more reliably/consistently for me than (what I guess is) the more "conventional" true heel-toe.

also aftermarket pedals can help
Yep. What he said.

I had aftermarket (Vosstech) pedals before, they look just like the ones in the yellow car that mr. kerr has posted a picrure of.

I installed the Rennline adjustable pedal earlier this year, and found heel-toe much easier to do with the Rennline pedal. In my case the throttle is now higher up compared to stock with the aftermarket pedal mounted on top, and this makes it easier for me to blip the throttle when using the brake.

I use the outside edge of my foot on the throttle, not my heel.

I roll my foot when on the track, but can only reliably do this with Rennline pedal extensions. On hard braking both pedals seem to be at the same elevation, so no adjustable elevation needed.

Cool

...I use method #2 . Better control , less work and easy in most types of foot wear

I tend to use the left portion of my foot for the brake (a big left portion) and the remaining for the throttle - but my leg is a bit oddly shaped due to too many knee surgeries. I suggest that you experiment where it is safe...

There are pedal 'supersizers' if you want for the brake pedal and throttle and they frequently have anti-slip bits on the to help. I have in the past moved pedals around a bit to make it work better as well...
