So, MMC, a "site sponsor" posts that he has an RS for sale. Things don't go to good for them so they ask to close the thread and it is done?

I give a deposit for the car. On the deposit it says the car will be MSRP with no premium. After being bombarded you come up with "it is not our allocation, we bought it from another dealer". Very easy to say, although with the demand of this car, highly unlikely. I'll make this very easy.
What dealer did you get the allocation from. You owe me and anyone else that had a deposit for the car that much. PM me if you like and if you want it kept confidential I will do so. If you can not tell me who you got the allocation from I will assume that you are not telling the truth. If that is the case action should be taken to remove MMC as a site sponsor. Moderators, you were very quick to close the thread, now please provide info on how to remove them as a sponsor.

It was going totally off topic and was not going anywhere.

So this car is MMC's allocation and you did not get it from another dealer. You screwed me and everyone else on your "list".
We do not need "Site Sponsors" like this.

In fact you posted to your own thread after you asked for it to be closed.

But that was again to promote cars you had for sale, and wasn't the point of your original posting to tout an over-priced car .

Steve, your actions here speak very loudly for you. Were I not a kind and gentle person, I think I would come to the conclusion that you have very little respect for the members.

The Board administration might do well to take notice that it is the members here who make the forum; and not the Sponsors. Very bad judgement on their part, but we have seen shady stuff on 6 Speed before and I am sure it will continue.

They dare not close this thread, or there will be mutiny in the ranks!

This is really ridiculous. I have no problem with you guys trying to maximize your sale (basic concept of supply and demand) however if you have a contract with a customer and he is (along with others) on the list for a car AT MSRP is it your duty to sell it to them as agreed upon.

To answer RR4 question above.
If these cars are so hard to sell than there is absolutely NO REASON to sell it to a fellow dealership. The story is bogus and no proof of where the car has come from has been shown which brings doubt to Steve's story. Sorry but I had to give my 2 cents because this is ridiculous that you can get a thread closed just because you are a sponsor and you got "pushed to the wall".
