In market for 2004 Yellow GT3

Hey all

Well its finally happened. The new GT3 bodystyle has grown on me and I have decided to make the dive into the non-boxster headlight Era 996s. I have until June to find the car or order it, so I have decided to come here to you guys to hear what you all are saying about the GT3s.

I have a few specs that I want my GT3 to have so here they are

Yellow
Black interior
GT3 Seats---Rockitman, you saw me, im not that fat... will i fit in them?
Xenon headlights
PCCB-Are these worth the extra $? I am a light tracker heavy auto-x.
Yellow seatbelts
I want my rims to be painted black from the factory... how much does this cost? do they do this at Porsche?
Do the carbon fiber trimmings make the car lighter? or are they the same weight as the plastic/rubber that comes on the car stock?
Do any of you know of a yellow/black GT3 with PCCB, Xenons, and yellow belts for sale? if so please tell me. I want to get what i initially wanted a GT3

Thanks in advance

Arent you the same person that told me to take note on how the new GT3 isnt as aggressive as the Previous one, and that the new one is a boxier looking car?

Yes I am Justin, but as my post said, I finally have given in to the new GT3 since its design has grown on me. I still feel that the new GT3 isnt as aggressive as the old one, but you have to move with the time i believe. The old Turbo is more aggressive than the current one, but theres a reason that there are new things...usually are better. not all the time, but usually they have their advantages.

I hope I am not getting into an argument with u. I just have realized the new GT3 is not "as non aggressive as i had perceived it to be". Thanks

Help?

I think that it is subtly aggressive. It has the right wing and the right stance to be aggressive but it not overly done.

the more you look at the car the more hip it appears, especially from the side.

you need GT3 seats, skip the carbon -adds weight, and skip the pccb unless you get a hot deal on a pccb car.

Preeth:

Get full leather, the plastic dash looks like it doesn't belong in a $100K plus car...Bag the pccb's. Other than weight savings, they will offer you no negligible advantage except a ridiculous cost of replacement should the discs go bad...especially since you auto x alot. As far as carbon, I only have the e-brake and shifter....looks nice. Yes, you will fit in the GT3 seats no problem. You will have to order them aftermarket...They do not come with american GT3's contrary to what the order guide may say...Don't bother with spending more money having the stock boat anchor wheels painted. Buy a much lighter aftermarket set that will look better and save you 20lbs in unprung weight. Keep the stock wheels with rubber for spares and use for auto x...Welcome to the club...you won't be disappointed...

No arguement at all Preeth, just shocked a bit, I think you made a great call, same here rolled out of the 00 C4 Aero Cab to order the GT3, my opinion of the GT3 is to keep it as simple as possible, it speaks for itself, Im sure guys here with much more seat time than me can vouch for that, keep me posted on your progress with this order or find.
