GT2 or one of these?
I take it as Ferraris are for one or several night stands while a porsche for long term relationships. Being 28, married with 2 kids and engaged in a lot of commitment at home and work I need something different in my life
Imo Porsche's are better cars to live with. But the feel and sountrack of a Ferrari, no matter what can't be replicated. Of course unlike the ballers of this site I have only driven a 355, 360 and 360CS to say so and haven't owned any.

I'll place a wager than the 997 GT2 blows the 430 Scuderia away by a fair amount. That NA V8 has no torque, especially as compared to the GT2 with the VTG turbos. I'll bet the 430 Scuderia tested Ring time will be slower than the 997 RS. And bet that the GT2 will be a few seconds faster than the RS with the same type of tires.
GT2 will destroy the 430 Scuderia, hands down. You'd better have a 599 Fiorano to keep up with that thing.

The aesthetics however is a different story. I think that the CS is one of the best looking cars out there even three years after its inception. Its just an achingly beautiful car.
The 430 Scuderia has managed to do what the CS did, namely improve on both its performance and looks of its sibbling. The only thing I disagreed with on the 430 is its nose. The reworked front completes the look of the car.
I would gladly trade my CS for the Scud if the opportunity presented itself.
And as far as 997 GT2 vs the Scud, Ill take aesthetics over performance. The Scud after all is no slouch at 1250 kg. My only concern is if the Scud ever gets to our shores, It will most likely be plumped up quite a bit.
