I am considering buying the GT2. I have heard that the new GT2 will have a launch control feature. does anybody know exactly how this works and how effective it is as far as launching consistently?

 

I believe a member here once posted the 997 GT2's UK trailer. In the end there are specs and details about launch control. If I recall correctly, it's a button that you press and with the clutch down, you'd step on gas and the car will find it's optimal launch speed. You then lift off the clutch and awaaaay you go. I might be wrong but I remember reading it somewhere...
