GT3RS Wheel on 996TT - fitment?
Anyone know if this will work?
I did a search and couldn't come up w/ anything on the RS-offsets, but I know it's somewhere around 50mm/44mm (F/R).
Thanks in advance

tight fit. front u're 13mm short from stock 996 GT2 wheel. will fit but need spacers to make it look good. the rear is 6mm short. u can run spacers as well but fenders have to be rolled. watch for the possible rubbing on the inside near the intercooler hoses. what suspension are u running?

Wheels
Let me know what you find out.......I have a set of black GT3rs factory wheels that I took of my 997TT when I sold it and got the RS. I might be interested in getting rid of that set. They are immaculate, just under 1000 miles on them.

The RS rears are 1" wider that stock 996TT, but the offset is 7mm or 1/4" less agressive. This makes the RS wheel extend only 1/4" farther out than a stock 996tt wheel. The inner portion of the RS wheel will also extends 7mm closerer to the body, so if you encounter any clearance issues a 7mm spacer will correct the issue. With a 7mm spacer, the RS rears will have the same offset as a GT2 wheel.
The fronts are 1/2 wider, but 3mm less offset than the stock 996TT. GT2 wheels have a more agressive offset, but have the same width. Inner might be a little tight and may need a small spacer.
If gt2 wheels fit, then RS wheels will fit. So in comparing the TT, GT2 and RS wheel offsets and widths......they will fit.
Now the tire issue. The 235/19 has a larger OD than the 235/18 and youl will need to check your clearances and you may need to run 315/19s in the rear, not the RS 305's.
996TT- 18X8F-50MM
18X11-45MM
GT2- 18X8.5-40MM
18X12-45MM
RS- 19X8.5-53MM
19X12-51MM

Sharky, yeah let's get it rolled since I may try 335 RA-1 next set... , just trying to hang w/ you big boys.
Zona and Arling are pretty spot on w/ their info...
REAR: Rub on the inside. Without any spacer, it basically sits right on the inner liner (where IC hoses are). 7mm should be perfect to get the tire off the inner liner w/out causing any outter fender rubbing.
FRONT: Couldn't confirm whether it was touching my coilovers on the inside. Definitely wheels look "sucked" in. Could use 7mm or 10mm to get the more flushed look.
Suspension/Alignment: PSS-9 at close to GT2 ride height. Camber: -1.5 F, -2.0 R.
