Could you build the GT3 RS?

Or do you think it would not be worth it?

Carnewall seem's to have all of the nessessary parts.
After adding these I imagine alot of gutting could get the weight down.

'04 GT3 Rennsport Rear Spoiler
'04 GT3 Rennsport Front Bumper Cover
'04 GT3 Rennsport Side Foils

I am sure the standard GT3 could be converted to RS spec. Other items needed in addition to the above...

single mass flywheel, full cage, plexi rear window, cloth GT3 seats, uprated suspension, recalibrated ECU (?), fire system (?)...

Estimated cost for the transformation which includes different nose, cf hood, new rear deck/airbox/air dam with CF winglet spoiler, suspension parts, single mass flywheel, plastic rear window, GT3 seats, club sport roll bar, ect... your looking at in excess of 25K w/o pccb brakes...

macfly is infamous around these parts
and even if you spend all that $$ it'll still be a fake.

I'd suggest just do the seats, a Das Sport or techniks roll cage, suspension/wheel mounts, Moton 7 way adjustables, and MPSC tires. Then you'll have something that works just as well, even if it's a tad bit heavier.

Why would you build a fake?

Lot of $$$ and not the real deal.

Because the real one is not available, and you would be making alot of improvements to the car including lightening it up and giving it a more origional look instead of looking like every 996 out there with a factory aerokit.

I was just curious, The RS is a great looking car in my opinion.

But the owners know that its nothing like the standard 996 and thats what counts, not even close.
