lager99 is infamous around these parts
Canadian GT2 price

$235,400 + freight and pre delivery inspection. I'm surprised they still kept a 20% difference over US price. Although this is still less then the $250G they expected.

Agreed, the car will level off to what the US market's used GT2 would sell for plus 6% duty charges.

Don't forget the lovely taxes you have to pay on top of that $250k

Canadian car prices are just ridiculous

lets just put it this way, with today's exchange rate the first CGT buyer in Canada paid around $700,000USD

You don't have sales tax in Fla? I pay 6%.

Alberta has no PST right? Nice.



In Ontario the 14% total tax on almost everything (including new and used cars) would be a massive hit on $235,400 ($30k+).
Factor in the personal income tax and to earn the money to buy one of those would likely take over $500k before tax (depending on your deductions).
