If you drive it like that, you won't have much fun with it. The cars are pretty dog slow under 4k. And far too quiet. 
Engines are broken in at the factory. As soon as the oil is up to temp you can give it the beans.
And what's the typical break in period for an 08 Gallardo Coupe,after which I can drive a little more aggressively,that too occasionally .?

Korse I won't be driving at that RPM range every time.. I also hear about the factory break in engine thing.. Hope that is the case,so that I may be able to enjoy the car from day 1.
