Looking for a 94-97 Diablo VT or SV
I have always loved Diablos and yes I know newer is better but I can only afford 100 to 132. Miles are no problem because I will keep it long term and drive the heck out of it. Color choices are Yellow, Chiaro Blue, Red, White or Black. Thanks
I will be looking at both in Chicago Wednesday. If I can keep my turbo and add a car maybe I will go with a convertible Ferrari. If I have to sell my turbo then I would want at least a mid 90's Diablo with 500 hp.
Buddy,

I agree. If I was in the market and MCI had the car, I would have no problem buying sight unseen (pending independent PPI of course).
one of my favorite cars looks wise of all time, is definetely the diablo roadster vt in red. from what all the review say though, they handle terribly though don't they. between a ferrari or a lamborghini, id say to go for the ferrari on the performance aspect of things.
They are part of Lambo houston
BTW Buddy the Diablo is considered the last real Lambo...its a beast
I used to work at FVMC in W.Chicago, drove many Diablo's,
I'd get a SV, RWD and more fun to drive (in my book)

I bought my Rturbo from MCI sight unseen. They did send me a 10 minute dvd of the car, inside and out. The are a quality operation and would buy from them again.

oh man, that's gorgeous! I love the SV's!
Hey Buddy,
The terms "Diablo" and "drive the heck out of it" don't play well together. I owned a 94 Diablo which was the most beautiful car I've ever owned. I bought it out of a collection with 1K miles on it. It was a POS. The door handle broke, it leaked oil, and repairs were stupid expensive. For example, a small oil leak and a clutch replacement (the clutchs on the older cars seem to be made of plastic...) was $15K. If you plan on driving one a lot I'd be very careful.
That being said Fox Valley is the Lambo dealer in Chicago. Bill Nuchio is the owner and he will give the the straight story on the cars. One of the few honest guys in the car business.
Good luck man.
Roy
ps. if you want Italian, buy a Ferrari
