Well today I did the world class driving event in Bandera Tx. It was a BLAST to say the least! I really wanted to drive the Gallardo and the F430 the most as those are the two cars I am contemplating for an end of year purchase. I am still leaning towards the Gallardo but boy the F car was the bee's knee's!

From what i see you drove a G SL, which is very different as driving sensation with a normal G... To be sure drive a normal G before taking a decision

Honestly...it did. Not one person in the group liked the way it drove. It was all over the road under 100mph...but over 100 was a different story. Even the instructor driving with everyone didnt like the car at low speed. It was the only car in which my confidence went to nothing while driving. I felt if you lost sight of what you were doing for a second you could loose the car.

 

That SL Bull is SICK!! But my vote would be the F430. In my opinion there is no beating a Ferrari. Course I haven't driven either. Best of luck on your choice!

 

yeah, I bet it stunk. Was it twitchy from too much power? Poor suspension balance, weight distribution?

Seems like a total status car, not sure why they would put it in a "driving experience" as it seems like the "experience" would be mediocre.

 

ive driven all three as well, friend has an SLR... that car is a supercar, if anyone has ever driven it, it is a completely different animal then the others. The SL g is a nimble and very fast fun driving experience, the F is a true exotic and has all u want in one... the SLR is a rocket ship with wheels, try keeping that on the road?
However if it were me i would look a few threads down and get Arizona's white superlaggera which is on sale, now thats HOT
