Dads, considering 2005 G-car, what to look our for?

Hey guys,
My dad found a great deal on a 2005 orange gallardo e-gear w/ about 6500 miles on it. What should We look out for on that car and do you guys have any suggestions on mods, exhaust systems, etc... (something modest now)

why not jump up to the 06+ with more power and better gearing?

You should look out for any damage that has been done to it and repaired/repainted. Also be sure to check and find out the clutch life remaining. Have a full PPI done at a trusted dealer or independent. Find out the service history of the car and whatever else you can about the cars history. What is the price on it?

Late 05s had the front end lift - a must have for this car

If its E-gear that your dad wants, why not go in for an 06?

For a "bit" more money :

1) More power + lower gearing
2) Better E-Gear software
3) Better clutch
4) Better exhaust plus the muffler bypass above 4K

Hey guys, i thank you for your opinions, but all day today we have been negotiating with luxury motors on a brand new 2008 SLR roadster with 400 miles on the odometer, i really am not at liberty to discuss the price, but we got a free smart car in the deal, LOLOL, aka. golf cart. the slr is meteriote grey with like a saddle interior color w/carbon fiber and gold calipers. really nice. we plan on getting 5 spoke wheels that came optional for the euro models. ill let you guys know on if the deal goes through asap and when the car arrives i should be able to get about 100+ pictures. lol.
