What a SHAME..Miles BIG DEAL!!
What a SHAME..Miles BIG DEAL!!
So I have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of owners out there that NEVER EVER get to feel and experiance the REAL driving pleasure of their car that they spend so much money on.
In the last few weeks I have had the joy of trading off between the 2002 Candy Apple Blue Murcie and the 2006 White Roadster, both 6 speed cars, (best IMO). Both cars were close to the 5K mark..and both had one owner only prior to me.
I turned 5800 on the White Roadster and 5300 on the Blue Murcie...and AS I have thought and stated prior....they are both like different cars...no question, like they woke up at 5K and said "here we are, now lets have fun".
I TOTALY am of the believe that these cars after about a 5K break in period are just a better car. They seem the settle in, the suspension, the tires are better grip, the engine runs in harmony and it just says let me go let me go...
As most of you know I have never ever been a fan of Garage Queen cars, as a matter of fact over the years the cars I have taken in with lower miles against higher miles HAVE always cost me more to get road ready and have had more issues on PPI than a car that has been driven and properly maintained.
If it was up to me, I would put BLACK tape over every F R I C K N Odomoeter out there and tell people to just drive the darn car!!
Just my 2 cents today...and now, since it is probably one of the last nice days to be had here in the Pacific Northwest of Seattle...I am off for a 200 mile run up to the boarder and back in the ROADSTER!!
GO OUT AND ENJOY YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!

Amen as well. I can't see why on god's green earth you would spend $300,000 on a car only to return it after around 1,000 miles. I know there are reasons sometimes, but I mean, if you weren't going to be happy with it after a few months, why the hell did you spend that much money on it?
