Just wondering if anyone has heard release dates, seen spy shots, etc...
I think the Spyder came 2 years after the regular Gallardo. I haven't heard much yet about the LP, though we're nowhere near 2 years. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully it will be soon, since the design is pretty much the same, no new engineering like they had to on the first one.

 

I was in Lambo dealer yesterday and they thought the spyder would be out in less than a year? That 560 is friggin sweet!

 

Did they have a 560? Where is the local Lambo dealer?? I only knew of Park Place, but that doesn't really count...

A friend is getting one of the first in Hong Kong and he said the dealer thinks it will arrive end of 09 however we are a RHD country so maybe LHD cars will come a bit sooner.

 

our delaer that we ordered ours from said ours is coming in early april as a 2010 model and ours is in the reventon matte brown color.

 

WOW. April as a 2010 model, that is early. That color should look pretty good. Spy shots and announcements should be in the next few months, then.

That looks great because it has the Murci style elevated panels behind the seats.
Granted it's a PS, but it's not flat above the engine like the original G Spyders.

Very promising.

True convertible most likely. PS looks great! Too bad the real car wont look like that and the Murcie roadster.

 

Compare the side profile (tops down) of a G spyder and Murci Roadster.
You'll see what I mean, right behind the seats. This PS is like the Murci, rather than the original G (which I too doubt will change on the actual version).
