I put the same exact poll in the Ferrari section and got a large bias towards the Ferrari and was wondering if that would hold true in here.
If you had around $150,000:
If you had around $150,000:
- Murci
- Superleggera
- F430
- F360 CS
Interesting as I see you have a Gallardo already in your stable.
Well that's because out of the choices you offer I like the F430 the best.
If you had put LP-640 then that would be different, but there aren't many of those under $150k. And the 360CS and SL only come with F1 or E-Gear.
are we assuming we have no other exotics, and we can have only one weekend car?
i could pick any of those 4 depending on what else i have owned in the past.
if i have never owned a ferrari and really want a fast car i would pick 430.
if i have never owned a ferrari and dont care about outright speed, and dont mind a two pedal car, and was more concerned about retail value i would go 360 CS.
if i have owned a ferrari, and want an exotic that is fast and easy to drive i would go Gallardo SL.
if i have already owned a ferrari and want something outrageous, i would go Murc.
if i am at the point in my life where i am right now, i would get none of those, and i would either get a Ford GT, or save more money and get a Carrera GT, or maybe go old school and go Dino or 512BB.

My humble thoughts:
Murci - best "value" IMO. Biggest motor, most attention grabbing and the 6spd is actually easy to drive.
Superleggera - Newest vehicle of the bunch, amazing handling, more geared towards track than weekend "street" car - as is the CS, but akin to having the least expensive maintenance.
F430 - Great car, but relatively "lots" on the road, esp. now. Great "Weekend Street Car" with all the nice ammenities that your sig. other would enjoy.
F360 CS - Track Bred, most "rare" car of the bunch, find the right one and you've got a helluva car. Again, not a weekend street car persay, but an amazing car nonethess. Sig. other may not like cabin noise, lack of carpet and ride quality.
Other things to consider:
When would you want to resale? Is that a concern? Some of these cars will hold up better than others...
Maintenance? Is that a concern?
If it were me and I wanted something great that has already taken a "hit" persay, I'd go after the Superleggera, CS, Murci then 430...in that order.

Love your wheel choice on your MBZ.
We have similar thoughts.
Being someone that changes cars every 2 years, resale value is a factor.
Maintenance, not so much. It would be more of a concern if it were going to be a daily driver or heavy track car.
The only reason why I put CS on there, is because its rare, will hold its value over time as most limited edition F-cars do, light weight, awesome tranny, and I love CF. Kinda same reasoning behind the SL, however, I noticed its taken a depreciation hit pretty hard. That's something to def. consider. Hopefully, it'll level out soon as have the CS. I remember someone on this forum buying a brand new one a couple of months ago for near $200k. I just saw a used one, 11k miles, on eBay go for $140k. Ouch!
