Well I've had my G for about 5 days now and up until tonight I had not given it the juice. I'm not kinding. I had not gone past 90 before this evening and most of my driving was done in 3rd gear driving miss daisy style. Well I was out late tonight and i had to go across a bridge to go home this evening and I decided to open her up. 150 mph flashed so quickly I had to look twice as I did not believe it. My back round in going really fast is on Motorcycles and I tell you 150 on a bike feels FAST. 150 felt so stable I decided to turn around and give her another go. I'm am actually ashamed of my behavoir but the G felt so stable it felt like my grandma could drive it at speed. On my second pass the speedo hit 190 and I shut her off although she was still pulling with no signs of danger. The pure fear of the numbers overuled my right foot. I guess the moral of this story is the G is so stable at speed that 190 felt rather pedstian, and I just want to give one more high five to lamborghini for making a car that even a non skilled driver like myself can polit.

BTW i dont recommend anyone go this fast as it was incrediably stupid on my part but I lived to tell the tale.

rung mine up to 180 the other day. seems to do pretty good at those speeds.

 

car does feel very stable at high speeds.. but also remember the speedo is off by almost 10 mph... so your not going as fast as it says.

 

Yeah most speedo's are a bit optimistic but I was still amazed at how drama free a run to 170? to 180? was.

 

Where at? I can't find anywhere in Houston to safely do over 80mph in my G. PM me if needed .
