For the guys that own a MURCI, can you give some thoughts on the idea of a twin turbo Murci. Would you ever consider it? How do you think the car could handle it? Stuff like that...Any thought is appreciated! Oh if you have a TT Gallardo feel free to comment as well.

 

It's been successfully done by several tuners/shops.

The better question is, if you own a Murcielago - why wouldn't you TT it?!?

Contact Doug Levin and Doug Levin Motorsports. He has built a few and they have actually been out running around and have been run hard. You can find him on Lambopower.com under the screen name DLM. Other then that, I dont think there are that many running around. The UR LP640TT was supposed to be finished but I havent seen or heard a peep about it for a couple months......Hope this helps...

Oh also forgot, Heffner is building one for one of the ZR Auto guys....but that project has been very hush hush as well it seems....

I can assure you there are some good reasons that any tuner building a high end project would keep it "hush hush". There are hundreds of hours of development that go into projects like this and the information and conclusions are not commonly handed out...

as far as i know UG is the only shop that has TT'd a murci.

as far as TT gallardo is there anyone else besides heffner and UG that offer kits ? i think the UG starts at 40k?

 

id call Doug Levin before you hand your keys to anyone.

His murcielago is twin turbo and he has done several of them. he has also done several gallardos too.

his shop only works on lambos and vipers

 

UG is on their first, not THE first. Doug Levin has the most experience. The UG one is having the engine built still. The initial pictures were of the kit fitted to a stock engine for show, now they are going back and reinforcing it.

Doug Levin actually offers a bolt on kit for the gallardo as well. its done pretty good in the runway races. A guy over on LP is waiting for his G to come back from Levin now....
