Lambo Gallardo Issues?

As everyone knows Ferrari have their "issues," such as their timing belt problems and thus forth.

Does the Gallardo suffer from any of their own issues in this respect? Lambo being an Audi run company now... does it have Audi-German reliability?

Just curious... Thanks

common issues of older cars 04 05

Egear...get a 6 speed
Brakes...Work great but can be noisy ($500 fix)
Plugs but rarely ($1200 to fix)

Thanks for the input - although e-gear does seem to be the road i would take, i'm a huge fan of the flappy-paddle gear boxes - i had SMG in my e46 M3 and still think it was the greatest transmission i have ever used

E gear on 04 and 05 is nothing like SMG...Same concept but not the same transmission.

if you do go Egear, simply make sure to get a car that has records and show at least one clutch change, no matter the mileage

All my friends that have owned Audi's had all sorts of electrical mishaps. So lets hope its still Italian reliability. Or maybe the Germans got better at wiring nowadays.

If you spent that much you got ripped off, although they are a pain to change on the left bank....also crank shaft seals leak, just replaced the front on mine, inexpensive though..later production 04's have less problems..

Audi's reliability tends to get better every year.

I still remember the first time i was flashed in my G

The only problem was I had a client in the car. He thought it was great, but made it very hard to see if the girls wanted any more
