I don't know you but I remember you and him trash talking awhile back, then he told me that you looked the other way like "who was racing you anyway?" and took off.
Is that true or just one of matt fresh stories?

What is that kid smoking? Was that a race? I was the one who left him in dust after pulling into the far right lane after he was trying to tailgate me. Last thing I needed was some kid in a wannabe GT2 hitting a real one. By the time he caught up (traffic was heavy) about 5 minutes later, he decides to weave through lanes and go full throttle past me while I was cruising about 40-45mph. I switched lanes and followed him after he got the jump and we followed each other for a good 10 seconds before we hit major traffic. I had no idea that it was a race. I had no intention of racing him through the Wilshire Corridor in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, I was just trying to get through traffic?

As for looking the other way, I was actually looking ahead, and it is true that I didn't acknowledge him. I don't acknowledge punks who try to provoke me for a race in busy traffic. Funny how that punk turned out to be Matt Fresh of all people. Typical of him I guess. Just like how he claims to have raped me in the canyons in his M3. Too funny.

Matt and his stories, he is just delusional.... I am such a slow driver, why would anyone, especially such a skilled driver as him, want to race me?

A bruised ego is good merit for responce, never fails.

As far as matt Fresh goes, he's as big **** talker as you or me or others on this board.
While not always true to the facts he's actualy a nice kid, I gave him a ride the other day in my Murcie and we had small talk, thats when he told me about the "race".
His TT is more than a wannabe GT2, it's by far faster than stock GT2 for what its worth.

A bruised ego? Hardly. I was responding to your last post, not the pedantic and baseless one from before.

A fast Turbo is hardly impressive to me. My ex Protomotive Turbo was probably one of the faster Turbos around, certainly faster and better tuned than any of the local cars that I know of.

Obviously, your statement about Matt's car being faster in a straight than a stock GT2 tells all about your understanding or lack thereof of why Porsche made the GT2, so we'll leave it at that. It certainly wasn't for drag racing, though due to the more efficient drivetrain, power mods to a GT2 will generally be more effective than a Turbo.

You can defend Matt Fresh all you want, but his statements are anything but truthful in this case.

I'm not familiar with your Promotive turbo but stock GT2 is no more impressive than Matts TT or mine for that matter.
I'm not defending Matt, just stating my observation of him.
Provoking ? asking you to confirm or deny a story I've heard (you confirmed) is fair IMO not provocative.
I don't know you personally, we never met that is but I know Hamann7 the internet persona who participates in a same tread with me.
Why you are so malicious ?

Malicious towards whom? I never made any personal attacks against you. You are the one who started talking **** about those of us who like to take a jaunt in the canyons, just as you have apparently done recently. Driving the canyons is also part of my commute on some days, so how does that automatically make us all idiots?

GT2 is a head and shoulders improvement in driving dynamics over 996TT, modded or not. Unless you fabricate custom parts and spend at least $25K on suspension, neither of your Turbos will touch a GT2 in the handling department. If you, as you claim, have put a GT2 sideways on many occassions, you should be the first to understand this.

And this is why I got my rid of my Turbo, which won the European Car 996TT Shootout. I think it's safe to say that the GT2 is definitely the superior car of the two.

Malicious means more than personal attacks, in your case it's the tone of your posts, just chill.
Driving thru a canyon is different than racing down stunt rd or Latigo, you know it.
I spent five years of my life rolling the dice blasting thru those canyons on street bikes, had friends injured had a good friend diying in my hands.
Is it safer in a car-yes(for you), does it make more sense-no.
May GOD help you and your friends and save you from your own acts of fulishness and disrespect for others while racing the canyons triying to compansate for something.

The GT2 is a better track car than the Turbo, the Turbo Is a Better street car by far.
I'm aware of all the technical diferences between the two so we can save it, as good as the GT2 is it never made sense to me, as you know turbo cars are not very popular around race tracks today.
It's very hard to drive the GT2 fast around a track and it's harder to race it, GT3 makes much more sense as a street/track package.
I never understood the real perpuse of the GT2.

I don't "race" the canyons. Your statement makes a lot of assumptions.

As for GT2 vs. Turbo, to each his own. If I could only have one, it would be the GT2. Harder to drive at the track, yes. More satisfying, definitely.

Great cars reward and punish with equal tenacity.

I drive briskly. Spirited motoring and "racing" are two very different things.
